Let’s Get Started

Our process begins with a brief conversation over the phone or you can fill out our questionnaire and jump right into scheduling an estimate.

We’ll start by gathering details of your project, what type of budget you have, and any of your ideas or details.
Next, we come out to create a plan and design, take measurements, and get to know you and your project.
Then we put together a custom proposal and present to you via email, and discuss it over the phone.
At this point, we make any necessary edits and put you on the schedule.
We give an allotted time frame of when we will be able to start.

We do our best to get to your project right away, but due to high demand, we are sure to complete within 30 days of your approval. Weather and current jobs fluctuate our schedule drastically. During the waiting period, we order any materials needed ahead of time, pull permits and have utilities marked. When your day comes, we are ready to begin!

Why Do We Ask for a Budget?

On projects with more variations, like yard overhauls, complete outdoor makeovers, plant and hardscape design, the materials you choose and the layout of the project vary greatly.

With our expertise, it is our professional integrity that we recommend the highest quality products and most tailor-made layout. This, however, can be adjusted according to your expectations of the final result and the amount you are comfortable with investing.

Fixed Pricing Projects

Some projects in our line of work follow a predetermined price structure, such as retaining walls, installing sod, fences, drainage and erosion fixes, etc. Those projects follow material cost- labor rate- amount required structure, and will usually only have a couple of options on material and method.

I recently hired Scenic South to correct some major drainage problems on my property. All the work was done in an efficient and professional manner. During the work, if a change was needed to either improve on the initial plans or if in addition to the original contract, Scenic ‘South cooperated with either a reasonable cost estimate or incorporated it into the original estimate. There is a real effort on the part of everyone that works for Scenic South from the owner, to the field supervisor, and the workers to put the customer first.
The end result is a backyard that looks like a park, Past ran storms had rivers of water running through the backyard and both sides of the house being saturated into mud fields. All that water is now moving out through the drain lines.
